Vaibhav Balasubramanian achieved Distinction in B.Sc Accounting 1st year and was included in the Dean's List for Achievements.
The awards celebratory event took place on December 18th 2021 at the University of Essex and the congratulatory letter Vaibhav received from the Executive Dean, Prof. Nancy Kula, stated:
“Every year the university of Essex produces the Dean’s List, which consists of the top performing students within each of its three faculties…. Due to the excellent results you achieved I am delighted to inform you that your name appears on the 2022 Dean’s List for the Faculty of Social Sciences.
This is a remarkable achievement and it’s my pleasure to congratulate you on being amongst the highest achieving students in our faculty which is home to some of the most highly rated social science departments and research centres in the country.
The hard work and commitment you have shown in your studies so far, despite the challenging times we have been facing, is a credit to you, and I hope you are able to continue to build on this success throughout your remaining time at Essex.”
Vaibhav says of his time here, “I left TWGSB after completing GCSEs in June 2019. My favourite subjects were Chemistry and Religious Studies. I shall always remember TWGSB fondly as it laid a strong foundation for me, for which I am grateful.
My favourite teachers were Mr Gould, English, who motivated me to aim higher and Mr Humphrey, ICT, who was the reason behind my progress in ICT”.
We are so pleased to hear this news and keep up the good work Vaibhav! Best of luck with the rest of your time at university and please keep us updated with your progress.
