Career:

Cameron is a chef at The Waterside Inn, Bray-on-Thames, working for the renowned Roux family ⭐️⭐️⭐️Michelin stars restaurant ~ opened in 1972 by Michel Roux, OBE and run today by Chef Patron Alain Roux, also home to his eponymous Culinary School.
Cameron has worked at Waterside Inn since July 2021 returning to his alma mater annually since leaving school, to speak with and encourage young students to dream big with their career choices. He is a fiercely proud GRAMMAR BOY!

Having returned to visit TWGSB every year since leaving in 2020, to share with the students encouraging stories from the culinary industry and its many opportunities, Cameron once again dedicated a full 2 days of his time to visit each of our campuses (Tunbridge Wells and Sevenoaks) this past week, inspiring staff and students alike. His talents are met only by his equal humility! What a true and exceptional alumnus.

Cameron shared this post on his Linkedin page:

‘It was a great pleasure to return to my alma mater, Tunbridge Wells Grammar School for Boys, and speak to the boys about my experiences—both during my time at school and since leaving—as well as the exciting opportunities within the hospitality industry.

The school has undergone a phenomenal transformation in recent years. It now boasts not only an exceptional teaching team, but also impressive new facilities, including the outstanding Sevenoaks Campus.

It’s always a privilege to return, and I look forward to visiting again soon and watching the school’s exciting future continue to unfold.’

Commenting on his social media post was his Waterside-Inn employer and world-renowned Chef Patron Alain Roux who said in response:

‘You’re a shiny star Cameron 🌟 Well done for sharing your experiences πŸ‘πŸ‘ŒπŸ™ŒπŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘.

All the best πŸ™. A. X’
