Mike Skipper kindly notified TWGSB Connect about the passing of Godfrey Wood (who taught Chemistry and Computer Studies from 1968 and retired in 2003). He writes:

"I have received notification that Godfrey Wood (who used to teach Chemistry and Computer Studies at the School) sadly passed away yesterday.

Rest in peace, Sir..."

Paul Crouch let us know of the funeral arrangements which are due to take place this coming Monday, 19th June 2023 and everyone is most welcome:

TWGSB have been in touch with Mr. Wood's daughter, Tabitha, who writes,

"We’d love to see as many people as would like to / be able to come on Monday to the Crematorium and/or the wake afterwards.

The funeral director is Robert Hickmott and sons in Tunbridge Wells if anybody would like to make donations to MacMillan Cancer Support.

I have had some lovely messages from so many ex pupils, we are very touched".
