It's not every day an executive from Liverpool Football Club (LFC) visits TWGSB! But yesterday one did!
What a pleasure to host alumnus Will Stevens-Amos (Class of 2019) Senior Executive of Partnership Operations at LFC, who took time out of his busy schedule on Nov 24th 2025 to return to Tunbridge Wells and share with our Y13's during their weekly enrichment lesson.
A First Class BA (Hons) graduate in Sports Management from Manchester Metropolitan University (June 2022), Will was eager on his return to share thoughts around career planning for our students as well as letting them hear about his fascinating career to date in the exhilarating world of professional football.
He shared how after completing his A Levels, he moved to Manchester to study Sports Management at Manchester Metropolitan University. Following his graduation, he returned to Tunbridge Wells and in October 2022 successfully applied for a role at Liverpool Football Club (LFC), based in the London office.
In March 2024, he relocated back to Manchester and has since progressed within the organisation, earning two promotions. He now holds the position of Senior Executive with LFC.
With regards to his time at TWGSB, Will shared a highlight memory being achieving an A grade in his Extended Project Qualification (EPQ), which he completed alongside of his A Levels. Here his research focused on how national agencies are working to reduce barriers of participation for women in sport.
Of course captaining the TWGSB 1st XV Rugby Team he also definitely regards as a proud and formative leadership highlight in his life.
When asked about lessons that have stayed with him from his school years, Will says that making mistakes have certainly done so. While often difficult in the moment, he views mistakes as essential to growth and learned quickly that development comes from trying, failing, and trying again.
Will was also quick to point out how as a school leaver ‘You don’t need to have everything figured out straight away. Many people, myself included, discovered their career path gradually, through experiences and exploration. The key is in always staying open to opportunities’.
TWGSB is proud of all Will has achieved in these past 6 years and will be cheering him on at every step of his career path.
