Neville Kitto is a man regarded with great affection at TWGSB/Boys Grammar as a past teacher who taught here for 30+ years and was Head of PE when he left the school in 1990.
He was an outstanding rugby player and captained at Crowborough Rugby Club from 1957 to 1963. Graeme Pratt and David Madin (pictured alongside of Neville above) played alongside of him in the mid to late sixties and were also recruited by Neville to the PE department at Boys Grammar. David shares that Neville was their ‘mentor and a legend to the sportsmen of that era’.
David himself was a PE teacher at TWGSB from 1969, moving to Maths in the later years and was an Assistant Head Teacher responsible for KS3. He retired in 2009 and has been a governor at the school since then. He has had a very long and distinguished relationship with the school, professionally and personally.
We’d love to hear any memories you may have of Mr Kitto, and/or receive birthday wishes for him via the comment box below.
